hey how old is your xps1330 . i also have one . it initially was ok .. but the nightmare has already started ... currently i am under warranty . even that does not help .. customer care do not know anything. just wait and watch ..
I could not agree with you more on this. I bought the M1330 and have nothing but problems that started with a defective charger, failed hard drive, and now the infamous GPU that is fried. An of course the latter is so common that the parts are on backorder. The only thing worse than the product is the customer service who are the only ones not aware of the many problems. Every phone call results in 5 transfers and more than an hour of waiting with no results.
alienware is owned by dell, dell support is fine until warranty runs out then it sucks. Don't rely on their techs as they just read whats on the their website.
well i have an xps 600 here i rang dell tech support to ask will my motherboard be able to upgrade from a pentium 4 3.8ghz processor to a dualcore processor and 5 technical support guys said my motherboard is 100% compatable with dual core processors. well i went ahead and bought a dualcore from komplett and it does not work. i found out that my mobo is not campatable with dualcore. idiot technicians. it's the last time i buy anything from dell.
